Photoplanet is a platform made for photography. You can either upload your photographs for showcase and sell or view and purchase works from other talented photographers.
Photoplanet是一个致力于服务摄影师的平台，在这里你不但可以上传展示你的作品，还可以与其他摄影师或者客户进行安全的作品交易，甚至你还可以“拜师学艺”，向你最喜欢的摄影师取经问道。

This project includes a graphic guide and a user interface design. This project is achieved together with my friend Alicia Chen, who is also a student from Jönköping University.
该作品是包含VI及UI/UX设计两大部分，是与我团队的另一名设计师Alicia共同完成。
For the part of color selection, we summarized photography in five words, which were creativity, connection, professionalism, nature, and sensibility. After that, we selected five colors that we considered fit the features of these words, but also match up each other. The color of creativity would be primary, and the connection and professionalism would be secondary. The color of nature and sensibility would play as compensations to bring up more visual possibilities.
Now it is time to design an App for Photoplanet. This part includes SWAT analysis, unique selling points, personas, LO-FI wireframes, and HI-FI prototype.
Strength: The price of photographic works in Photoplanet is open and transparent. The transaction process is clear. The credibility of online transactions is guaranteed.
Weakness: Higher operating costs are required camparing to some free image sharing website.
Oppotunity: The function of personal work display and private chat, which can provide photographers with more business opportunities. Unique community function for photography enthusiasts to communicate and learn techniques
Threat: Competitive pressure is relatively high, since there are many mature art trading websites of the same type in the industry already.

In Photoplanet, we took the inspiration from freelancing platforms, which is clients could set requests and recruit photographers to bring up customized artworks. This could provide photographers a chance to work with more people and export their artworks commercially.
Moreover, we not only give a channel to comment on others’ artworks. Additionally, we bring up a function that encourages photographers to find their “idols” and apply for tutoring. As a tutor, you will get a special updating reminder about your students’ artworks and could leave comments privately. Photoplanet would not charge anything, and being a tutor could not only receive a membership discount but also bring you more visibility.
